A supportive and inclusive environment for children:

Teaching at the school is based on ABA methods and principles, which provide a supportive and inclusive environment for children with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs, in collaboration with specialists and families.

Education for children with special needs:

The educational institution implements special education programs for children with special needs, including an educational program with 58. codes intended for learners with mental disabilities, ensuring an individually tailored learning process and comprehensive necessary support measures for the child's development.

Description:

Children from various Latvian municipalities aged 2 to 18 are placed in the Graši Children's Village. 4 children's residential houses have been built here. Children receive education at Cesvaine preschool "Brīnumzeme", Cesvaine Secondary School, Madona State Gymnasium, Liezēre, Dzelzava Septiņu Pakalni and Sveķi Primary Schools. The oldest young people study at vocational schools in Latvia and France or at one of the Latvian universities. Graši children also attend interest groups offered at the school, Cesvaine Music and Art School, and sports classes. Our institution was founded by the Latvian Catholic Church together with the French charity organization Cap Esperance. We believe it is important to introduce children to Christian values.

The center is suitable for preschool and primary school children, providing an opportunity to spend meaningful time in a safe and child-friendly environment.

Every day, children can participate in various activities, play, develop their skills, learn new knowledge and, if necessary, complete homework. Activities are adapted to the age and needs of the children, creating a calm and supportive environment.

Special attention is paid to canine therapy for children - targeted contact with a specially trained dog under the guidance of a specialist. Such activities can promote the development of a child's communication, social and emotional skills, as well as help improve attention and cooperation skills.

"Ķepas skola" also offers canistherapy and educational classes for groups, educational institutions, camps and social care centers. Services available for children and families in Cēsis and the surrounding area.
