Activity: At present, the heating mains of Balvi city have been completely reconstructed - the lengths of the reconstructed heating mains make up the total amount 8974, 45 meters - in Stekentava 2'141.55 meters and in the city 6'832.9 meters. Reconstruction works of heating mains built in the sixties and seventies of the last century were completed from 1998. to 2007. 121 objects are connected to the district heating system in Balvi, including: residential houses - 62( 2300 apartments with a total heated area of 107961 m2) ; private houses, public buildings - 59 objects. All buildings are connected according to a 2-pipe connection scheme and individual heating units are built in them.
Heat meters are installed in all objects.
